Starring Ben AFFLACK!!! Sorry, couldn't help myself...

I don't wanna throw a lot of spoilers in as I don't wanna ruin it for those who haven't seen the movie yet. It starts with Bruce Wayne witnessing his parents murdered when he was a kid which was done very dark, than cuts to the a scene at the end of Man of Steel where Metropolis is getting severly ****ed. Bruce Wayne shows up to see a Wayne Corp building crumble, people dying, and he instantly has resentment to the irresponsibility of the Kryptonian known as Superman. We then see Superman show up at a terrorist base where Lois Lane is in hot water and he brings the terrorist down. Apparently though, there were casualties killed in a village nearby outta retaliation and people blamed the Superman from another world. But something doesn't bode well in the heart of Superman (AKA Same Superman just wearing glasses and a suit to be disguised as a news reporter) who hears of a Bat vigilante in Gotham City who terrorizes, strikes fear, and brands a bat symbol into the the hearts, minds, and flesh of people. Oh, by people I mean criminals and the police that see glimpses of the Dark Knight. So throughout the movie we see little snipes and gripes of Bruce Wayne telling Alfred that the alien can't be trusted and Clark Kent whining that Batman isn't fair to criminals.

"Alfred, I killed Joker, Penguin, Two-Face, and put Arnold Scwarzenegger in an insane asylum after making him help me save you... But now I must kill an alien because I don't trust him and am afraid he'll go evil and take over the world. No one's worse than him..."
-Bruce Wayne

"Hi, Bruce? I'm Lex Luthor, I had an appointment to meet with you at 2:30."
-Lex Luthor

We do get to see a little bit of other Justice League members (especially Wonder Woman, who was freaking awesome, by the way) and there's some really good action scenes. Amazing music, dark atmosphere, Batman is Hella violent (reminded me of Michael Keaton in Batman Returns who flat out blew criminals up), the final fight with Batman and Superman ends kinda as expected when you see the plot unfold but the final scene in the movie (which shall go unrevealed from me but will say it features my FAVORITE Superman villain who can possible be seen as his most epic match ever) was nothing less than amazing. Though you do wait almost the whole movie to see the fight between Batman and Superman.

"I see you're not human enough to know what 'bad touching' is..."
-Batman
"... Oh snap..."
-Superman

As much as I liked the movie, stuff about it doesn't sit right with me. I'm not a big fan of the unarmored Batsuit (yeah, I know they tried to make this Batman more like Frank Miller's vision but it feels too basic, the symbol essentially is a big square, and the ears are freaking short), Lex Luthor acts too crazy and goofy, when I first saw previews I thought he was gonna be Edward Nigma (The Riddler), Batman's visions/nightmares get a little annoying to watch (but they do reveal a little bit of Wayne's psyche), and ultimately Hollywood filmed this NOW because Avengers made a lot of money and their stuck on the comic book to big screen band wagon. I will say there was WAY more explanation and storyline in this than Avengers, the criminals seemed less like the kind that'd curl their mustaches and tie damsels on train tracks, and this Batman actually has a better way to change his voice than Bale's low tone growling (Seriously, he's not a dog or a death metal singer, he's Batman). What's the final vote? I give it 4 out of 5 Superhero deathmatches... Could've gotten a 5 if it had a decent Joker in there somewhere but this is a good movie and one I felt satisfied with the overall result of it. Yeah, there's a setup for more crap to happen but it's not nearly as bad as nearly every Marvel movie now. This is one I'm gonna buy on Blu-Ray, you should check it out and give it a chance... Man, I've been wanting to see that final fight turned into a movie for a long time...
