They're not gonna frequently cut away for some pointless modern day filler gameplay are they?

This one's got an interesting premise; make a game with very similar gameplay to the Uncharted games, place it in Victorian London, and pit a secret order of knights up against an army of rebels and werewolves. For those who haven't played the Uncharted games, they are action games that take place from a 3rd-person over the shoulder camera angle featuring a climbing system with much more fluid control than Assassin's Creed and a cover system very similar to Gears of War and Army of Two, and this game utilizes those same 2 features and provides it's own very cinematic feel. The graphics are nothing short of top notch, the characters in the game look almost completely like real actors. The sounds and music of this game really captures the atmosphere and mood of the game. My only complaints with the gameplay are the enemies fully covered in armor and armed with shotguns (They are rediculously hard as they are often placed in areas with little maneuverability) and some of the quickness in the quick time events (Some of which are over in seconds and if you don't hit the button on time or miss where to put the cursor over, you instanly die and get reloaded to the nearest checkpoint... Hella annoying and this is a drawback also in the Uncharted games). But what of the storytelling in this game? As we know I feel this is something that can make or break the game...

"What happened, copper?!"
-Sir Galahad
"Ow! Some cowardice bloke behind a suit of armor and a shotgun shot me arse several times without reloading!"
-Officer Badluck First-To-Die

The game starts with the player being tortured and deciding to break out of the prison he is held at, he is nearly shot by his former brothers in arms but manages to escape. The majority of the game tells of the events that led up to his imprisonment. What once was a normal day for the secretive and more modern Knights of the Round Table gets sinister when rebels go underground and have to fight off Lycanthropes, making the leader of your squad connect 1 & 2 and believe that the 2 are working together. Without getting too much into detail and give away spoilers (As the storyline and cinematics are impressive), I will say conspiracies get unraveled, dark truths come out, and the character you play (Don't believe he's the same Sir Galahad of legend but that's what his title is) becomes skeptical of who to trust in his own Order.

"Hmmm... Does the other Knight Sniper really have my back? ... Hey! Stop shining that laser in my eye! Wait... Uh-oh..."
-Sir Galahad

I am kinda disappointed how the game ended, story BEGS for a sequel but this game has come under a lot of fire from critics which I don't think is fair... Yes, the game leaves you wanting more, it is not historically accurate, but few seem to accept this game's as it is; simple, fun, graphically beautiful, with a setup for a potentially great series and intense storyline. Honestly, I think The Order: 1886 was a great game, very ambitious story, definitely glad I picked this one up and recommend people try out a few levels before judging it. I give it 4 out 5 vials of vials of water from the Holy Grail.
