He said that he'd be back...

This one's a bit more of a straight forward action film and my favorite movie of all time. Let's get into this. Years have passed, John Connor's a delinquent child and his mother's gone crazy and landed herself in a mental institute. We see Arnold come back and assault an entire biker bar to get some clothes, a vehicle, and even a shotgun. But there's a new guy played by Robert Patrick who quickly kills a police officer and gets his clothes and cop car. During a brief confrontation at a shopping mall and after a pretty epic chase scene from the early 90s, we discover Arnold's Terminator is a good guy sent by the humans and the cop guy is an experimental prototype Terminator that can change what he looks like, form solid metal blades, and even blend into areas better than Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid to kill the future leader of the resistance.

"Crap. I could be walking on T-1000's face and not even know it."
-Solid Snake

"Excuse me, have you seen a cardboard box run by here?"
-T-1000

So the Terminator and John Connor decide to break Sarah Connor out of the mental institute and decide to blow up Cyberdyne Systems before SkyNet could be created, thus ending the war in the humans' favor before the nuclear bombs even begin to drop. Thus meaning that the timeline gets changed and the universe should implode in it's own barf, but after a climatic finish in a steel foundry it doesn't actually end revealing the machines are or aren't coming for blood. Sarah merely explains she looks to future with hope as though she's unsure if SkyNet was truly stopped... But she's looking forward to finding out and is no longer a psycho bitch that cares little for her son, the hero of the resistance.

Movie sequels often replace people but this isn't the case of T2, everything feels like it fits perfectly with the first film. The action is great and special effects look phenomenal to this day. 23-24 years have passed since I first saw this movie and damn, I love every second of it to this day. Terminator 2: Judgment Day gets 5 out 5 robotic deathmatches between old and new tech.
