It's like Resident Evil meets Jurassic Park. How could you go wrong with that?!

Apparently you can seeing as though at least 18 Resident Evil Games were made since '96 and only 3 games were in this series (4 if you include the shooter on rails arcade game called Dino Stalker). But the gameplay, voice acting, a lot of this just feels like Resident Evil with dinosaurs instead of zombies.

"Hmm.... No one's here and the facility is suffereing from a black out... Let's split up and..."
-Squad Leader
"With all due respect, sir, that's the worst. Idea. Ever!"
-Only black guy in the squad

This game starts with you some redhead babe in sort of special forces group, sent to an island after receiving word from a spy some muckity muck scientist (believed to be dead) is working on some bioweapons for some pretty nasty people. After getting there you see the place is trashed, power's out, people are dead, leader suggests splitting up, etc etc blah blah blah, typical horror game stuff. Well... They discover that the anicent and long extinct death machines that are dinosaurs are responisble for killing everything, not zombies or mutants because that's just crazy. Anyways, now the redhead babe and the black guy (Holy crap, the black guy doesn't die first in this horror game! Good for you, black guy!) realize they must somehow signal for a rescue as well as find the crazy scientist and arrest his ass.

"Granny! What big teeth you..."
-Regina, AKA the redhead babe
"I'm a motherf***ing T-Rex, you idiot!"
-A motherf***ing T-Rex

So this game has some bad voice acting, but this game really took a different turn than the usual horror games already out like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Nightmare Creatures, Castlevania, and you gotta give them credit for trying to make a decent Jurassic Park-esque game. The series could've been better, deserves a sequel or a reboot after all this time (Dino Crisis 3 with it's infamous DINOOOS IN SPAAAAACE theme is ONLY playable on an original Xbox) and I don't think this game gets the love it deserves. Despite it's flaws, Dino Crisis is a pretty fun and challeging game like Resident Evil that offers a bit of originality with it's story (Not gonna spoil it). It get 4 out of 5 real dinosaurs... Not the cloned ones from Jurassic Park but REAL Dinosaurs.
