This did what the Nintendon't...

Alien 3 returns on the Sega Genesis in 16-bit glory! What do I have to say about it? Well, the tme limit and size of the levels are better, the graphics are better, good. Ripley seems to have more ammo, bad. There's still prisoners to rescue like easter eggs, okay as they have to make it more challenging. In-game music totally rocks, good. HOWEVER... The music at the title main menu just feels non-Alienesque at all and more future clubbing-like... That's bad.

"Don't just stand there and stare! Get me outta here! ... No? Fine, I won't let you beat the level and delay the Alien popping through your chest!"

So graphically and soundwise it's better than the NES version, but this version also seems easier and a little more bright and colorful to really be considered as scary as the NES one. Still... The action gameplay is more fun and I think that's what makes this version better... But only a little. Alien 3 on the Genesis gets 3 out 5 Xenomorph birth control pills... I duuno, I'm running outta ideas here!
