What the bloody Hell is this and why'd I buy it?! Oh right, cause it says "Metal Gear Solid 5" on the cover...

Seriously, when this came out I was all like, "Duuuuuuuuuude! New Metal Gear and open-world?! Shut up, and take my money!" Not even an hour after starting a new game I beat the main storyline mission which is as follows: Watch cutscene revealing the kids from Peace Walker are captured and Big Boss goes in to rescue them, stealthily get Big Boss to the prison cells and rescue the boy, go to underground part of the base and rescue the girl (The doublecrossing bitch), watch gory cutscene, your base explodes, watch teaser trailer for MGS5: The Phantom Pain, game over. I thought the credits rolling was one of Hideo Kojima's lame jokes but nope, it was the real thing. Maybe the joke's on us. I mean, Metal Gear's not even in the game, no bosses, no nothing really. It all feels like a bad joke.

Gameplay wise is kinda cool but it's bittersweet once you see this is the shortest game in the Metal Gear Solid series! This game is nothing more than a glorified demo showing the graphics, gameplay, and backstory of The Phantom Pain. Seriously, it's like BUYING the short Tanker episode from Metal Gear Solid 2... WHICH THE MAJORITY OF WAS RELEASED ON A DEMO DISC WHICH CAME FREE WITH ZONE OF THE ENDERS!!! Ugh, I felt screwed by Konami and Hideo Kojima after getting this one... Sure it's fun, but it's not worth the $30-$40 they were charging when it came out! Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes gets 2 out of 5 lousy money grabbing schemes.
