After 8 years, RTCW finally has a sequel...

So this one actually has nothing to do with Castle Wolfenstein, doesn't have chainguns, and takes place in a town called Isenstadt. Blazkowicz is arriving in town incognito but his cover is blown, making him escape and take on the Nazis in guerrilla warfare alongside German freedom fighters. Turns out a medallion BJ recovered from a previous mssion allows him to enter a mysterious (And very green) dimension where he is given ethereal powers such as slowing time, walking through walls, and shielding.

"Zoo may vear dare yewellry, vut zoo art nut zar lord end zavyor Cthulhu, Blazkowicz!"
-Nazi occult priest

Yes, this time the Nazis are trying to tap into this other dimension called the Veil and harness it's Lovecraftian-like secrets to give them an edge in the war. There's even some bosses that remind of of those Cthulhu stories but there's a classic Wolf3d boss that makes appearances in this game and that was awesome when he's introduced! Deathshead's here again as well as his machines but once again, not the smiling psycho he is in New Order...

"Hmmm... Maybe I should go crazy after running away this time... Everyone likes crazy people like Joker... Then again, he's a loveable bad guy and I'm just an asshole."
-Wilhelm Strasse AKA Deathshead

The gameplay is pretty good; traversing the town to choose your next mission is a nice touch that gives a more open world feel than previous Wolfenstrein games, the levels and enemies can be challenging and the story keeps making you wanna see what's next, weapons are a nice blend of authentic historical guns with experimental weaponry that seem plausible to the timeframe and sci-fi storyline the developers cooked up. I give Wolfenstein 5 out of 5 dimensional creatures...

... All hail mighty Cthulhu!!!
