Nazis rule in the 60s with lazers and Terminators? ... Hmmm...

The game begins with BJ and friends mounting an assault on an unconquerable Nazi fortress being publically advertised on some God-forsaken coast littered with Godzilla sized robots and robo dogs 4 times the size of Great Danes in the summer of 1946... Yeah, this game takes history, the Hellboy like disabelievable plausibilities and crank it all the way to NOT 11... But 25. So our heroes walk into an obvious trap in the enemy fortress and you get to choose who escapes by the skin of their teeth from a doctor in previous Wolfenstein games who's apparent replaced his genius tactician mind with that of a complete psycho scientist from a B-movie. Jump forward 14 years, BJ's in a mental institute but that doesn't stop him from getting a girlfriend and killing a small army of Nazis. So they escape and with the help of his girl's loving aunt and uncle, BJ interrogates an unsuspecting Nazi before chopping him up with a chainsaw... Then BJ decides to break into a prison and rescue what little resistance fighters are left alive, but not after having hot sex on the train ride into Germany because you know, that's what Daniel did before going into the lion's den.

"BJ Blazkowicz. Killing and screwing for America... Which apparently lost the war having such morals..."
-Random military spokesperson

There's more crazy BS like the Nazis apparently perfected computer science, Terminators, despite seeing the atrocities of the Third Reich even Jimi Hendrix claims America was just as bad as the Nazis for letting his father die in the war and being "The Man". Because you know, that's the same as all the murders and cities being blown/burnt into rubble by an unstoppable war machine, not to mention all the nations toppled by battalions of tanks.

"Situation normal. Historically all screwed up... And don't even get me started with the people, "all screwed up" is a complete understatement."
-BJ Blazkowicz

Looking past all that... Stuff... The gameplay is pretty fast paced yet challenging. Levels can get dragged out annoying at times, but there's something super fun about dual wielding shotguns and blowing away sadistic enemies and killbots that don't feel pity, pain, or remorse. But overall it doesn't feel like Wolfenstein to me thanks to all that crap mentioned in the first half of the review. Can't help but give this game 2 out of 5 battalions of lazer shooting Terminators... But anyone who knows me knows I hold Terminators in high regard.
