The year is 2240. The entire world is destroyed, destroyed by the Nuclear War of 2180, covering the Earth with ash and polluting the oceans and rivers with radiation. A vile and evil city called Krucible exists near the ruins of San Francisco, a city ruled by the tyrannical Government Of Order.

Many innocents are kidnapped and taken to Krucible's Hostility district, where they are experimented on and tortured to the breaking point in the halls of the dreadful Sanitarium. A young girl with no memory attempts to escape from this palace of pain and misery.
