Hmmm... Another weird one...

Well at least I get to play Godzilla (Unlike Godzilla 2 on the NES, my last review)! This is mostly a platform puzzle game, you play a little baby Godzilla (He's unable to breathe fire, by the way) being chased by little baby Baragon, little baby Rodan flying in the air and smile as he wants to kill you, little wind-up toy Mecha-Godzilla, even little wind up Smog Monster which kinda looks like that red haird monster guy from Looney Toons...

"Hey, where's that Godzilla guy at?"

The puzzles aren't that hard but I'm sure they get harder the further you get in the game. Mostly you're walking on platforms, climbing vines and ladders (Can't jump in this game), pushing rocks on enemies, punching enemies, and punching rocks to break them and go to the next level. Why? I don't know, the game doesn't really get into that, maybe Godzilla is serving time and breaking rocks is his community service, maybe the son of Godzilla somehow got himself stuck in a rock? I don't know.

"Oh where, oh where could my little boy gone? Oh where, oh where could he be? Oh... Hi, Gossamer!"
-Godzilla

So no, this isn't the best Godzilla game nor is it the worst. It's a pretty simple and kinda fun puzzle game developed when the Game Boy was like the cutting edge of technology so I bear in mind the limitations of the console... I'd say this is worth 2 baby monsters out of 5. Hey, baby Godzilla monsters... Maybe that's what Pokemon really are!
