This is a pretty interesting one...

Imagine a straight forward side scrolling fighting game but with stage types dictated by a hexagonal game board, the kind you see in old strategy games. This is a one player game with you takiking turns playing Godzilla and Mothra and at the opposite side of the board are famous enemies of our favorite mutated dinosaur and butterly. Bosses vary from Moguera and Gigan to Mechagodzilla and well, any Godzilla nerd can guess King Ghidorah is the final boss to fight.

"Godzilla takes mountain pass A1!" - Player

"Now my smashing and burning begins!" - Godzilla

Being an old NES game there's not a whole lot to this game, mostly go here, smash everything in your way, go here, defeat boss, level up and get stronger, next hexagon battle stage map. Story is basically aliens declared war on Earth and it's up to Godzilla and Mothra to defend the planet and beat the invaders and their army of monsters back to where they came. Soooooooooooooo no, this isn't like modern games with in depth gameplay and graphics, but it's something you can pick up and just have fun being Godzilla destroying stuff...

For that, I give Godzilla for the NES 4 out of 5 Nuclear power plants.
